Below are some of the classes I will be teaching in Term 1. If you are interested in doing any of them, please email or phone me with your name, phone number, course/s you want to do and your days/nights of preference. Now I say 'days' as it is probably a good idea to nominate two choices where possible. Please note that I will teach one Wednesday evening class each week, providing we have enough numbers. I will put out other courses in Term 2… which will allow me a little time to create the new projects. :o)

The hourly workshop rate is $5.50 per hour. Workshops vary between 2 hour - 6 hour blocks, depending on each project.

Patchwork for Beginners:
5 x 2.5 hour Lessons. (5 weeks)
Course Fee: $68.75
Kit: $50.00 - 18" Project
You will need your own sewing machine. Also require cutting mat, rotary cutter and ruler (we can supply these where necessary). This course covers the ABSOLUTE basics!! For true beginners!! Or people who struggle to butt their seams properly. :o)

Intermediate Patchwork: Foundation Piecing
5 x 2.5 hour lessons (with homework)
Course Fee $68.75
Kit: $ 95.00 - 26" Project
Kit includes papers, threads… everything. You will need your own sewing machine. Also require cutting mat, rotary cutter and ruler. Foundation piecing is a great technique. Learn how to get your seams perfect the easy way.

Brazilian Embroidery:
4 x 2.5 hour Lessons (with homework)
Course Fee: $55.00
Kit: $90.00 (includes triple mat picture frame)
You will learn the art of Brazilian Embroidery and working with rayon threads. You will also perfect Bullion knots, satin stitch and Cast-On Stitch. Also the course will teach you how to frame your embroidery professionally

Silk Ribbon Embellishing:
2 x 2.5 hour Lessons (with homework)
Course Fee: $27.50
Kit: $100.00 (with large gold picture frame)
This is a great way to see if you will enjoy silk ribbon embroidery by learning to embellish a beautiful hand-printed silk print. This course is designed to 'wet your whistle' so to speak. You will learn how to frame your work also. You are sure to be delighted when you create this exquisite work of art!

Sculpted Dolls:
3 x 2.5 hour Lessons (with some homework)
Course Fee $41.25
Kit: up to $65.00
You will learn to paint realistic faces, make hands with fingers and to sculpt a face. You can have a choice of making Alandrah the Elf, Sage the Fairy, Mareenah the Mermaid, Flame and Amethyst and Sproket the Pixie.

Country Dolls:
3 x 2.5 hour Lessons (with some homework)
Course Fee: $41.25
Kit: up to $65.00
You can have a choice of making several country dolls. Heather is just on of them. You can choose from Grace, Sunflower Sally, Henrietta the Cow, Annabelle the Chook the list goes on! Once you make one of these dolls, you can make hundreds more!!

Jewel - The Dragon:
Because of the complexity of the Dragon itself, this course will be run a little differently. It will be held as a 2 lesson course, each lesson being for 6 hours. The kit would be $75.00 and the Course Fee $66.00. I would like to run this course over a couple of Sundays and maybe a couple of Fridays (in school hours). Please let me know if you would like to do this course and if Sunday or Friday is suitable.
